My Love

Thanks to my wonderful beta Pam.

Sometimes my lover gets lost in his work.

Sometimes my lover snaps at me because the washroom was messy.

Sometimes my lover scowls for no reason.

Sometimes my lover is too tired to make love to me.

Sometimes my lover forgets to come to bed.

All these habits are annoying but venial.

You see when my love remembers to finish work on time, isn't scowling, not too tired, and remembers to come to bed on time.

He would forgive me for the bathroom and gift me with a rare smile.

On those nights we would make love for hours.

My love would worship me with his hands, his mouth, and his voice.

No rush just slow and languid lovemaking.

After those bouts we would lie wrapped in each other for hours.

Right before I fall asleep on those nights Severus would whisper.

"What did I do to deserve the man in my arms?"

I never answer. With a sleepy half smile on my lips I turn into his arms and kiss him soundly.

He would wrap me in his arms and whisper, "Prat!" As he kisses my forehead.

The loving tone would always give him away.

Then I fall asleep basked in the loving enigma that is Severus Snape.

So when morning comes what else can I do but wrap myself around my love and wake him the best way I know how.
