Anger Management

Albus sighed heavily. Two! Two, in one day, something had to be done.

It was the second time today Dumbledore had to stop a duel between a student and Harry.

Albus followed Minerva to the current battle zone. Harry erected a barrier to the classroom door while he and the student dueled. It was apparent to all who were present Harry was toying with the boy.

Dumbledore watched a moment to admire Harry’s technique and skill. Then took a deep breath and broke through the barrier.

Once inside he “Stupefied” both students.

“What is this about?”

Both boys remained silent. Albus understood. It was personal and it would remain so. So he nodded to both boys. “One hundred points from both houses and see the Heads of your Houses for punishment they see fit to give.”

Both young men nodded and walked toward there respective Houses.

“Minerva send the boy to me when you’re done.”

“Harry this is the sixth duel you’ve been involved in within the last 5 days.”

Harry nodded but said nothing.

“Harry please explain?”

Harry was quiet for many moments. Finally he responded. “Some students were out late and saw me leaving Lucius’ office.”

Albus raised an eyebrow at the casual use of a Governor’s first name.

“They assumed I had done something ‘improper’ to the new Governor’s office. So for the past five days I’ve been dodging hexes and threats from the entire Slytherin House.”

Dumbledore’s ears perked up. So the rumors were true.

Harry was involved with Lucius Malfoy. Lucius a well known but unproven Death Eater turned re-appointed Governor for the school.

Apparently Seamus walked into the DADA Classroom to find Harry bent over a table and Lucius pounding into him.

Harry had always walked a different path. It seems his life was never meant to be easy.

No one dared to bother Lucius about this but it looked like everyone thought Harry was fair game.

Albus mused because Harry still carried himself smaller than he was people tended to forget he defeated the most powerful Dark Wizard of this time in the beginning of his lifetime.

“Harry you can not solve all your problems with violence.”

Harry snorted in response.

“Harry I am asking you to find another way to deal with this.”

“Yes, Headmaster.” Harry answered.

“Good! Now be on your way. I believe you have detention to attend.”

A week later another student sat in his office.

“Would you care to explain Mr. Zabini why you think running around the Great Hall in a pink tutu is appropriate behavior for a student?”
